Every year, Ragamala starts with a Music Appreciation event led by an esteemed Performing artist and Guru of the art form. This year, we have Ustad WASIFUDDIN DAGAR walk us through the various aspects of the DAGARBANI style of DHRUPAD genre. This will be an online program in a narrated format with plenty of singing, and traditional Pakhawaj accompaniment by Shri MOHAN SHYAM SHARMA. Disciples Aravindan Srinivas and John Haywood are on Tanpuras.
