Shri. Shashank Subrahmanyam, who plays the Carnatic Flute, is a child prodigy who has been largely self-taught. He has also been under the guidance of his father Shri M.N. Subramanyam. He has also received training under stalwart Carnatic vocalist Palghat K.V. Narayanaswami, and the legendary Hindustani vocalist Pandit Jasraj.
Shri. Shashank will be accompanied by Kum. Shruthi Sarathi on the Violin and Shri. Parupalli Phalgun on the Mridangam.
